Giemme produces and markets doors and windows (windows, doors and sliding doors) in wood, wood-aluminum, aluminum and PVC for residential and industrial buildings, shutters, shutters, security systems, armored doors, garage doors and pergolas.

It also produces interior wooden doors: frosted glass doors, wooden and metal doors, lacquered doors, laminate doors.

DESCRIPTION
Engineered profile made of 3 or more solid or finger-jointed layers, both frame and sash, glued with class D4 glue according to standard regulation EN204.
The boards forming the enginnered profile can be solid or jointed through finger-joint system depending on its application or technical specifications.

DIMENSIONS
Fixed engineered frame nominal section mm 68 x 82 or 2” 43/64 x 3” 7/32.
Operable engineered door nominal section mm 68 x 79 or 2” 43/64 x 3” 7/64.

THRESHOLD DRAINING GASKET
Triple stop profile hold, double gasket on sash, on request third gasket on frame; glass Stop can be chosen among different shapes: rounded, squared, blunt, baroque; aluminum or wood drainer on window Anodized aluminum and polyamide thermal break threshold (h=25mm or 1 Inch) on french door.

OPERATING DEVICES
Supporting and closing hardware in anti-corrosive steel in normal conditions of use, applied in “ 12 mm space” is composed of a corner hinge with micrometric regulation in the three directions, stopping-cams with multiple closure points self-adjusting and respective safety encounters, single lever latch on double-sash; standard tilt and turn opening complete with safety device and micro-ventilation device operable with a 45° handle position.

INSULATED GLASS
Dual pane, single chamber, low-e glass with Argon and aluminum spacer or on request “warm edge”; interior and/or exterior glass sheets, tempered or laminated as per standards UNI 7697:2015; it is possible to insert triple pane with double chamber with a thickness that does not exceed 34mm.

WOOD PROTECTION
surface treatment of the wood with acrylic based resins in water emulsion; the application cycle varies from three to six layers depending on the finish and the duration requested.
